The Belgian federal ministry of health wants to place precautionary restrictions on the sale of mobile phones, L'Express reported. Although the relationship between GSM radiation and health has not yet been determined, some studies show a link with certain types of cancer. According to minister Laurette Onkelinx, the marketing of mobile phones should not be aimed at children under 14 years and mobiles aimed at children younger than 7 should be banned. The minister also wants mobile vendors to inform people about the maximum radiation power of their devices.
