Belgium's BIPT wants to extend mobile licences again

Thursday 24 June 2021 | 09:26 CET | News
Belgian regulator BIPT wants to extend mobile licences for 2G and 3G again for another six months, until March 15 2022. The old permits expired on 15 March. The extension would assure coverage until the multiband auction. Otherwise, Proximus, Orange Belgium and Telenet would no longer be able to provide their services.
