Benin's Libercom exits mobile market

Benin's mobile operator Libercom, a subsidiary of state-owned incumbent Benin Telecom, has ceased its operations after years of mismanagement, reports Agence Ecofin. The government of Benin took the decision to start liquidating the operator and its sister company Benin Telecoms Infrastructures in June 2017, following their poor financial performances.
