Berec completes reports, consults on net neutrality

Berec, the EU-27's national telecom regulators' group, held its 11th plenary session in Dubrovnik, Croatia on 24-25 May. The organisation's members adopted a series of studies related to net neutrality. The first is a study into traffic management practices and other restrictions to an open internet in Europe. The second is a set of three public consultations until the end of July on recommendations covering differentiation practices for traffic and subsequent competition issues, minimal QoS thresholds to be enforced by regulators, and the IP interconnection market.
