Berec consults on 2017 work programme

EU telecoms regulator Berec has opened a public consultation on its draft work programme for 2017. The plans were approved at its latest plenary meeting in Vilnius. A key part of Berec's work next year is expected to concern the pending review and reform of the electronic communications regulatory framework, for which the European Commission introduced proposals last month. Berec will also oversee the first year of the EU's net neutrality regulations, as well as the planned end to roaming surcharges in mid-2017. The public consultation on its work programme will run from 7 October to 2
