Berec satisfied with parliament's version of telecom package

EU telecom regulator Berec has published a reaction to the telecom regulation passed in a preliminary version by the European Parliament in April. Berec earlier warned against adopting the package proposed by the European Commission too quickly, given its complicated content. The regulator is staisfied that the EP and EC are taking more time to finalise the project. In particular, Berec is pleased that the MPs scrapped the proposal for a 'home regulator' for operators active in multiple countries.
