Berec to hold November meeting on NGA policy

EU telecoms regulator Berec will hold an extraordinary meeting on 15 November, following a request from European Commissioner Neelie Kroes. The meeting will be dedicated to new regulatory approaches aimed at enhancing investments in next-generation networks. The national regulators that make up Berec will discuss with Kroes how the new regulatory approach could fit into a wider EU policy agenda for promoting high-speed internet roll-out. They will also use the opportunity to respond to a number of questions which have been raised by stakeholders and investors recently about the EC's
