Bezeq says new internet connections up 64% since coronavirus outbreak

Bezeq Israel Telecom said new client connections to the internet have jumped 64 percent because of the coronavirus outbreak, which has forced students and employees to study and work from home, Reuters reported. Bezeq said internet surfing has risen on average by 30 percent a day, mainly because of students either studying at home or playing video games, and people who need to work from home.
