Bharti Airtel raises USD 3 billion in issue of new shares, convertible debt

Bharti Airtel announced the completion of a USD 3 billion offering of new shares and convertible debt. The money will be used to pay outstanding regulatory fees due this month, as well as strengthen the balance sheet and finance capex.
