Big screen movies to be brought faster to homes

Hollywood Studios plan to bring movies to people's living rooms in less than 45 days since the movies' appearance in cinemas, that's half the existing time it takes a cinema movie to appear on DVDs or digital platforms, according to WallStreet Journal citing people with knowledge of their plans. Hollywood Studios and cinemas finally decided to reach a compromise as a result of consumer habits fueled by proliferating on-demand entertainment options, people with knowledge of the talks said. The prices will range between USD 30 and USD 50 per VoD movie, the people said.
