Bitel Peru rolls out new OTT video service

Peruvian mobile operator Bitel, a subsidiary of Vietnamese state-run telco Viettel, has launched a new multiplatform SVOD service for existing clients called Bitel Video. It includes a range of on-demand series, films and documentaries and can be accessed via Android and iOS smartphones as well as smart TVs and PCs. The service costs PEN 8 (around USD 2) a month with 30 days' free trial but will use up data from user bundles, confirmed the operator.
