Bitkom: 5G is precondition for mobile Gigabit society

On the occasion of the National IT Summit on 18 and 19 November in Berlin, German IT association Bitkom demands that companies, the academic community and politicians set the course for the next mobile generation 5G in order to enhance the digital transformation in Germany. The faster transmission rates of the 5G technology will be indispensable for digital applications of the Industry 4.0, interconnected mobility and telemedicine, according to Bitkom. This year's summit focuses on topics such as digital transformation and Industry 4.0; intelligent networks and mobility; digital sovereignty,
