BlackBerry expands licensing programme to more device types

BlackBerry has begun the next phase of the licensing strategy it announced in September, saying it now wants to move from smartphones also to other devices, including tablets, wearables, medical devices, appliances, and point-of-sale terminals. The company said it will work with a wide range of manufacturers to integrate BlackBerry Secure software into both BlackBerry branded and co-branded devices.
