BlackBerry to lauch new PlayBook by June - report

BlackBerry has unveiled plans to launch a new PlayBook tablet, running its BlackBerry 10 operating system. Sources familiar with the matter told Emirates 24-7 that the device is expected to launch in the UAE by the end of the second quarter. According to the report, the company may first release a BB10 update to the existing BlackBerry PlayBook and then release the new 10-inch tablet. The Playbook was initially launched in April 2011, but failed to take off amidst stiff competition from Apple's iPad and Samsung's Android-based tablets.
