BlackBerry to sell newer BB7 phones in some markets

BlackBerry will announce more affordable smartphones as part of its portfolio of upcoming devices when it can gain the biggest market attention for them, CEO Thorsten Heins told the Canadian Press. The range will comprise, entry, mid- and high-end products. Another round of models running the BlackBerry 7 operating system will also be released in some countries. Heins downplayed the possibility of splitting its hardware and services branches, describing BlackBerry as an end-to-end secure solution.
