BlackRock sells China Telecom stake for USD 200 million amid US ban

BlackRock has sold almost its entire stake in China Telecom, a company subject to a new ban on US investment, Reuters reports, citing a stock market filing. The sale is in line with US investors' efforts to exit stocks subject to the sanctions, which ban Americans from owning companies deemed to have links with China's military.
