Blok reassures employees after America Movil bid

Monday 12 August 2013 | 09:12 CET | News
KPN CEO Eelco Blok said in a video message on YouTube that KPN employees need not worry about the takeover bid put forth by America Movil. Blok said the company will take into consideration employee reaction, noting nevertheless that the bid could not be stopped. Blok said it would take some weeks before it becomes clear whether the offer becomes unconditional. "The official bidding document must first arrive; the shareholders will then study it in detail to see if they find it a good offer."
