BMW offers Vodafone emergency alert SIM card with motorcycle

Vodafone Germany said vehicle manufacturer BMW has presented the new K 1600 GT motorcycle with an optional emergency alert function running on the Vodafone network. It said the intelligent alarm will work on Vodafone's domestic network before becoming available from 2018 in many European countries. It said the function will summon swift assistance in the case of any accident, thereby contributing to improved road safety.
