Friday 15 July 2016 | 20:44 CET | News
Germany's Federal Network Agency (BnA) has published a frequency document focusing on the provision of new mobile frequencies for innovative applications. Interested parties can comment on the paper until 30 September. It is designed to give the public an overview of the next steps planned by the Agency in the regulation of frequencies used for mobile broadband services. It discusses regulatory questions arising from the expiration of the current UMTS licences in 2020. It also addresses competition in the mobile market on an infrastructure and services level.
