Bolivia latest to ban contract terminations, launch basic services bundle

Bolivia has followed other Latin American countries including Mexico, Chile and Peru and Argentina by announcing the launch of a free minimum services bundle and banning operators from terminating telecommunications services due to non-payment. Under the provisions of Supreme Decree 4250, local operators are required to continue providing telecommunications and pay-TV services to customers who end up in financial trouble due to the nationwide Covid-19 lockdown.
