Bouygues engaging in "job blackmail" over 1800MHz - Orange

While Bouygues Telecom has said it would hire workers if it receives approval to use its 1800Mhz spectrum for LTE, France Telecom-Orange does not engage in "employment blackmail", Orange group deputy CEO Pierre Louette told Les Echos. He added that Bouygues group has sufficient funds to support its telecom subsidiary. Orange has hired 10,000 people over three years and will take on another 4,000 in the next three, Louette reiterated. The company is investing EUR 350 million in fibre and EUR 600-700 million in mobile this year. Asked about Free's recent blocking of ads served by Google,
