Bouygues Telecom and SFR announce new renewable energy commitments

Wednesday 26 May 2021 | 09:38 CET | News
French operator Bouygues Telecom has accelerated its drive toward sustainable energy, announcing that 100 percent of its electricity consumption will be sourced from renewable power (wind and hydroelectric), starting from 2021 and for the following three years. This follows the announcement in mid-February of new objectives to lower the environmental impact of the company's operations. At the time, Bouygues said that it planned to increase the proportion of renewable electricity to reach over 50 percent of its overall consumption by 2030.
