Bouygues Telecom brings 5G connectivity to shipyard in Saint-Nazaire

French operator Bouygues Telecom announced that its B2B arm has been selected by shipbuilder Chantiers de l'Atlantique to bring 5G connectivity to the company's shipyard in the Breton town of Saint Nazaire. The site will start benefiting from permanent 5G coverage from 2022, after a period of testing that relied on a temporary installation mounted on a lorry.
