Bouygues Telecom leads in new 4G sites in June

The number of LTE cell sites authorised across France increased to 41,509 as of 01 July, a 1.3 percent rise from May, according to the latest monthly statistics from spectrum agency ANFR. Sites in service rose 1.5 percent over the same period to 36,996. Orange remained ahead of rivals, after adding 331 antennas to service during June for a total of 15,986, while Bouygues Telecom grew the most during the month, adding 443 sites for a total of 15,500. SFR increased its footprint by 272 to reach 15,663 sites in service, and Free Mobile grew by 193, with 10,820 cell sites overall.
