Bouygues Telecom to cut EUR 300 million a year in costs

French conglomerate Bouygues announced at its annual report presentation that it planned to cut costs at its telecom business by EUR 300 million a year, reports Les Echos. The transformation of the French mobile market has led Bouygues Telecom to prepare new deals which are still in the pipeline, said group chairman Martin Bouygues. The operator's B&You low-cost brand has recruited 130,000 customers since launch in July 2011.
