BQ offers direct interest-free handset funding

Spanish handset manufacturer BQ has reached an agreement with payment solution provider Fine Trade, an NTT Docomo company, to offer consumers the possibility of paying for its handsets and tablets in monthly instalments. Funding is available for any BQ-made device costing over EUR 99 with interest rates ranging from 3.13 percent over three months, 5.55 percent over 6 months, 9.18 percent over 9 months and 12.09 percent over a year. By way of a promotion, anyone acquiring a BQ device in May will be offered 3-month funding interest-free.
