Brandenburg to submit application to become German 5G test region

The German state of Brandenburg is striving to become a test region in Germany for the new 5G mobile communications standard, reported TelTarif.de. The state government is preparing to submit an application with the German federal government to receive funding for research and development that would accelerate the build up of 5G infrastructure in the state.
