Brazil antitrust body clears transfer of NII Holdings stake

Brazil's Administrative Council for Economic Defence (Cade) has approved, without restrictions, the transfer of the 37.58 percent of NII Holdings to the fund Capital Research and Management (CapRe), the largest holder of debentures of the US company, which controls Nextel Brasil, reports Teletime. The operation is part of the judicial rehabilitation proceedings of NII, requested by a US Court last year.
