Brazil ranks third in Americas for cybersecurity

Friday 2 July 2021 | 15:58 CET | News
The ITU this week ranked Brazil as the third country in the Americas most committed to the Global Cybersecurity Agenda. The significant improvement (in 2018 Brazil was sixth) is the result of actions such as the establishment of the National Information Security Policy and the National Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure Security Strategies, according to the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel). In the Americas, only Canada (97.67) and the United States (100) are currently ahead of Brazil, which scored 96.6.
