Brazil seeks partnerships for internet deployment in Amazon

Brazil's Communications Minister Andre Figueiredo said that the expansion of optical fibre in the Amazon region, through partnerships with the Para state government, will contribute to making the internet a universal service in Brazil. He also suggested the definition of a plan of integrated action, which could count on specific funds or BNDES funds.
