Brazil to decide on Huawei's participation in 5G next year

The Brazilian government's decision on whether or not to allow Huawei's participation in the supply of 5G technology should be left until 2021, reports Teletime. The announcement was made by Communications Minister Fabio Faria, who called the issue "highly complex", adding that the introduction of 5G represents the "biggest challenge" for his ministry. When the Covid-19 pandemic ends, meetings will be held with major players and countries that have 5G technology to help the government take a decision, he said.
