Brazilian regulator opens investigation on data leak

Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) is investigating the recent data leak that allegedly originated from Brazilian telecom operators, the agency's superintendent for operational control Gustavo Santana Borges confirmed, reports Mobile Time. During an online event, the superintendent said an investigation has been opened "to establish the facts." He added that Anatel has the technical competence to analyse the leak, while the police has the capacity to find who leaked the data.
