Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has postponed the analysis of the request submitted by Starlink to provide broadband internet services via low orbit satellites in Brazil, reports O Globo. The issue will now be on the agenda for the next meeting of the regulator, scheduled for 10 February 2022. According to Anatel's counselor and rapporteur, Vicente Aquino, Starlink would have national coverage, but must operate mainly in rural or remote regions.
