Brazil's Globo reduces video quality to ensure streaming stability

Brazilian broadcaster Globo has decided to reduce the quality of videos of its OTT VOD platform to "ensure streaming stability", reports Teletime. Globoplay has temporarily ended the option of 4K and Full HD (1080p) videos. The change will also be applied to the G1, Globoesporte.com, GShow and Globosat Play sites. Thee highest resolution for live and VOD content will for the moment be HD 720p.
