Brazil's Mhnet Telecom takes over C-Connect operations

Brazilian regional operator Mhnet Telecom has taken over ISP C-Connect in the cities of Criciuma, Icara and Balneario Rincao, in the southern region of Santa Catarina, reports G1. Mhnet Telecom operates a 25,000 km long fibre optic network, serving 86 cities on a retail basis and 115 on a wholesale basis. It provides fibre optic, fixed telephony, pay-TV and mobile telephony services to over 160,000 customers in four states (Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, Parana and Mato Grosso do Sul).
