BRICS countries to cooperate in ICT sector

The communications ministers of the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) have signed a letter of intent for joint cooperation in the ICT sector. The text of the declaration highlights the role of technology in the development of the digital economy and as a tool for modernizing and improving public administration, increasing the competitiveness and productivity of the private sector and socio-economic inclusion.
