Broadband Forum releases first code in Open Broadband project

The Broadband Forum has announced the first code release and documentation of its new Open Broadband project – Broadband Access Abstraction (OB-BAA) – to enable standardised, automated and accelerated deployment of new cloud-based access infrastructure and services. The industry body's latest reference implementation is designed to facilitate coexistence, seamless migration and the agility to adapt to an increasingly wide variety of software defined access models.
