Broadcom unveils GNSS chip for IoT, wearables

Broadcom has unveiled a new Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) chip for Internet of Things (IoT) and wearable devices. The advanced chip will enable devices such as fitness bands to deliver pinpoint location while consuming minimal power and in some cases eliminate the need for a separate MCU.
