Broadnet claims role as robust second national fibre grid

Broadnet is willing to take on the responsibility of providing an alternative route for Norwegian telecoms traffic, after the recent Nkom document highlighting weaknesses in the current network, according to an article on Inside Telecom. The watchdog's dark fibre report said it sees vulnerability in the fact that all cross-border traffic is concentrated on infrastructure based in the Oslo region, and that it then goes to Sweden and on to Copenhagen.
