Broadnet reabsorbs operations outsourced to Tech Mahindra on security grounds

Wednesday 16 August 2017 | 16:45 CET | News
Norwegian fixed line operator Broadnet is voluntarily taking staff outsourced to Tech Mahindra back in-house on security grounds, on 01 September, according to an article in Insidetelecom.no. Concerns were raised when national public broadcast NRK reported in February that Indian IT staff would have access to parts of the Norwegian emergency network, and shortly afterwards, Broadnet said it would be re-absorbing network operations. In the meantime, these were still done by Tech Mahindra, with staff physically in Norway.
