BSNL to run MTNL's mobile network operations in Delhi and Mumbai

Indian state-run operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has started to operate Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited's telecom networks in Delhi and Mumbai, The Economic Times reports, citing a statement from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). The measure follows BSNL's recent proposal sent to the DoT on 27 October 2020, expressing interest to manage networks in twin circles on an outsourced basis.
