BT customers left without broadband, phone service

BT customers are experiencing problems with broadband and phone services on the morning of 20 July, BBC News reports. BT tweeted that it was aware of a problem was working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Subsidiary PlusNet is also affected. BT attributed the problems to power issues at a London site of an internet peering partners. Customers in parts of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are all affected.
