BT expands fibre broadband roll-out in Rutland

Tuesday 12 April 2016 | 11:02 CET | News
BT has announced a GBP 1.1 million fibre broadband expansion to four Rutland villages. This will make high-speed fibre broadband available to around 900 homes in Barleythorpe, Bisbrooke, Braunston and Pickworth. This second phase roll-out extends the original Digital Rutland programme, a partnership between BT and Rutland County Council. Once completed, around 95 percent of premises in Rutland will be able to connect to fibre broadband.
