BT faces Ofcom probe over delays in wholesale Ethernet

Ofcom opened a new investigation into BT's wholesale services. Last year in the Business Connectivity Market Review, Ofcom imposed on BT certain quality of service requirements for its Ethernet services. One of these, known as the 'upper percentile limit', required that no more than 3 percent of orders for wholesale Ethernet services completed in the period 28 April 2016 to 31 March 2017 should be delivered in more than 159 working days. Ofcom opened the investigation after finding evidence that BT had failed to meet the target. BT could face a fine of up to 10 percent of the associated
