BT quarterly profit down on extra costs, 1% fall in revenue

BT reported a further drop in results for its fiscal second quarter to September, as weakness in the business market and higher costs weighed on its performance. Revenues fell 1 percent to GBP 5.949 billion, and adjusted EBITDA was down 4 percent to GBP 1.811 billion.
