BT to start search for new chairman at end-2016

Monday 23 May 2016 | 10:42 CET | News
BT will start its search to find a successor for chairman Sir Michael Rake at end-2016, reports the International Business Times. Rake has agreed to stay on in his position until at least September 2017. By then, he would have completed 10 years in the post. He has been asked by BT Group board members to stay on and support BT CEO Gavin Patterson, who is understood to have forfeited a GBP 290,000 bonus due to a rise in customer complaints.
