BT updates on Better Future programme progress

BT has revealed the progress of its Better Future programme, which has three focus areas - Connected Society, Net Good and Improving Lives – each with their own target to achieve by end-2020. This year, BT has helped customers avoid carbon emissions by 1.3 times the end-to-end carbon impact of its business; reduced operational carbon emissions from its global business by 25.5 percent, delivering a saving of GBP 25 million; and GBP 3.1 billion was generated by products and services BT has identified as having a carbon abatement benefit for its customers.
