BT, Virgin launch joint campaign to defend Openreach

Rivals BT and Virgin Media have teamed up for a joint advertising campaign to defend the UK's record on internet infrastructure, reports The Telegraph. The campaign will launch in the week of 19 September and will run in all quality national newspapers. It will claim how they have invested GBP 15 billion between them in infrastructure over the last five years, and highlight that average UK broadband download speeds are faster than in other major European markets.
