BTC to launch credit advance service in Bahamas

Tuesday 1 August 2017 | 14:37 CET | News
Bahamas operator BTC has announced the imminent launch of a credit advance service for customers who need to top up, but are short on cash or simply can't make it to a top-up vendor. The BTC Lend app for prepay users allows customers to request credit advances or recharge "loans" if their accounts are nearing a low balance. Once the loan is approved, the amount is added to the customers' account and they can call, text and even access data. Customers will be encouraged to pay back the loan within a week's time, but no more than 30 days after, said BTC.
