Buglas, VATM respond to BnA vectoring decision

German telecoms industry groups Buglas, fibre network operators' federation, and VATM, alternative telecoms operator group, have responded to the decision by the Federal Network Agency (BnA) to allow Deutsche Telekom to upgrade its copper lines with vectoring technology. Buglas said the decision to allow Telekom to refuse access to its network in areas where alternative networks are available would shatter the basic principle of unbundled last-mile access as the central regulatory pillar for infrastructure competition. VATM said in a statement that the BnA's draft decision left market players
